A Master’s degree allows you to deepen or specialize your knowledge, and often builds directly on a previous Bachelor’s degree. On successful completion of this academic course, you will be awarded the academic title of Master of Arts (M.A.), Master of Science (M.Sc.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) by the FernUniversität in Hagen. A master’s degree confers the same qualifications as the former diplom and magister degrees and entitles the holder to start a doctorate.

Admission requirements

  • Completed university degree or
  • An equivalent foreign academic degree

In addition, further subject-specific requirements may apply to our Master’s degree programs. You can find more information about these on the linked degree program pages.
