Would you like to change your personal data in our system. What do you need to change?
Changing Your Name
You can apply to change your first name and/or surname informally by presenting an official document (e.g., a copy of your marriage certificate or identity card). Please send an e-mail to bescheinigung stating your matriculation number and enclose the relevant proof.
If you are a trans or inter person and would like to change your first name and/or gender entry before the end of the court proceedings and/or before the official civil registration, please also contact bescheinigung
Changing Your Address and Contact Details
You can quickly and easily change your address and other contact details yourself in studyPORT. In the “Study and examination organization” area, you will find a convenient function under the “Profile” tile where you can keep your address, e-mail address and telephone number up to date. Note: Changes of address are not automatically transmitted to the University Library. Please send an e-mail to info.ub
Changing Your Bank Account Details
If you have an existing direct debit mandate, you can request a change to your bank details with reference to the existing SEPA direct debit mandate by sending an e-mail to gebuehren, stating your matriculation number. Alternatively, you can also send a newly completed SEPA direct debit mandate to the fee office.
