On campus, you will receive all relevant information as well as all of the FernUniversität information material and forms. The staff provide competent advice to prospective and current students on all aspects and possibilities of distance learning and help with organizational questions.

You can make face-to-face or virtual appointments for student advice. Whether you are about to decide on a distance learning program, have just started studying, or need solutions to complex distance-learning challenges, the student advisors are there to support students in every phase of their studies – even with difficult topics.

Media skills and confidence with computers and the Internet are an important prerequisite for successful distance learning. The media technology advisors at the campus locations will provide you with specific assistance when you need it.

The campus locations enable close links between regional cooperation partners and FernUniversität researchers. The academic advisors at the campus locations are dedicated to maintaining this networking concept.
They support the respective campus locations in all academic issues relating to studying and teaching. They represent the FernUniversität’s research locally to partners from the worlds of science, business and politics.

Generally speaking, all examination venues are at the campus locations of the FernUniversität in Hagen. You have a free choice of examination locations. Various examination types and formats are offered at the respective campus locations. In addition to online exams, you can also write on-site exams or take oral exams via video conferencing systems. The type of examination and the examination format are determined by your faculty.

You can make valuable social contacts with other prospective and current students at the campus locations. You can exchange ideas and support each other in study groups. Students can book well-equipped rooms at the campus locations for their learning and working groups.
