What Can I Study at the FernUniversität?

We offer Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs, special continuing education programs and freely selectable courses and modules in the Open Access Studies program.

We provide step-by-step instructions on how to get off to a successful start in distance learning. In this section, you will find out which study materials you can use to study, how examinations are conducted at the FernUniversität and how you can get in touch with other students.

How Do I Enroll in a Degree Program?

You can register for the summer semester from December 1 to January 31 (start of studies: April) and the winter semester from July 1 to August 31 (start of studies: October).

How Do I Organize My Distance-Learning Course?

studyPORT is a clearly laid out portal environment to help you organize your studies. Digital services are convenient and easily accessible from studyPORT – for example Moodle, the virtual study environment, the examination portal, the university library catalog and much more.
