Master of Business Administration and Economics: Course Content

From controlling, marketing and risk management in companies to topics such as taxes, stability policy, international finance and environmental economics – the field of economics is extremely diverse and equally relevant for small and medium-sized companies, large corporations and entire economic areas.

The master’s degree in Business Administration and Economics builds on your knowledge from your previous degree in economics. It consists of a compulsory and a compulsory elective part. In the former, you will deepen your knowledge of business mathematics, statistics and accounting. In the compulsory elective part, you have the opportunity to specialize by choosing individual modules to suit your professional expectations. You can choose from a large number of business administration, economics, quantitative and legal modules, from which you can put together your course content almost freely. With the appropriate choice of modules, a specialization in “Management and Controlling,” “Accounting, Finance and Taxation” or “Quantitative Methods and Modeling” can also be shown on your master’s certificate.
