Distance Learning

A distance learning program at the state-run FernUniversität in Hagen adapts to your life and your needs – not the other way around. You learn where and when you want, so you are flexible in terms of time and location. You receive course material study packs to work on, you can use digital media (such as online seminars and virtual lectures), teaching and learning tools including wikis and blogs, and attend a few face-to-face events.

On this page you can find out how distance learning works in detail.

What Are the Requirements for Distance Learning?

There is practically no other state university where the life situations of the students are as diverse as those at the FernUni. We will show you the kind of personal prerequisites required for our distance learning program and which specialist knowledge is needed for some bachelor’s degree courses.
