Master of Mediation
Mediation instead of litigation: sometimes it’s impossible to avoid a dispute because people’s needs, demands and interests are too different. This leads to conflicts. The path often leads to court, even if the amount in dispute is trivial or the matter is apparently simple. Mediation offers a way out. The mediator structures and accompanies the process; the parties themselves are responsible for resolving the conflict.
The interdisciplinary “Master of Mediation” course offers an academic examination of mediation and conflict management with the breadth and depth of a postgraduate course. It concludes with the academic degree “Master of Mediation” (MM).
Despite its academic orientation, mediation training also has a considerable number of practical applications. Participants learn negotiation and mediation skills that they can use in their daily work.

“I’m really grateful that distance learning has given me the opportunity to further my education. I was able to prove to myself that I can perform despite the stress of my job. That made me very proud. I was especially impressed by the support provided during the on-campus seminars, as you not only learn mediation in theory, but also experience it in practice.”
