Specialist Lawyer Course in Criminal Law
This course is recognized by the Chamber and bears the ZFU seal of approval. It qualifies you for the title of specialist lawyer in accordance with the regulations of the Specialist Lawyers’ Act. You will acquire specialized theoretical knowledge, as required by Sections 4 para. 1 and 13 FAO, by completing subject-related assignments via independent distance learning combined with continuous assessments. To successfully complete the course you will need to pass three five-hour written performance assessments from the various areas of the course in accordance with Section 4a FAO.

| Qualification: | Your certificate of attendance can be used to prove to the competent bar association that you have acquired the special knowledge in criminal law required for the title of specialist lawyer (Sections 4 para. 1, 13 FAO). After successful participation you will receive a certificate from the “Institut für wissenschaftliche Weiterbildung” of the FernUniversität in Hagen, which is a proof of achievement in the sense of Sections 6, 14 FAO. |
