The bachelor’s degree program in Cultural Studies comprises three specializations: history, literature and philosophy, from which you choose a major and a minor according to your interests. In addition to content-related knowledge, you will learn the basics of academic work and acquire the ability to grasp and question complex thematic issues and contexts in the field of cultural history and the history of ideas and place them in an academic context. A bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies with a focus on History, Literature and Philosophy prepares you for academic work, for example in a subsequent master’s degree as well as for work in public and private institutions.
