Abstract:

The energy and sustainability transition in Germany is putting increasing pressure on industrial companies to improve their energy footprint. One example is the reduction of electricity consumption in production. However, other electricity-related pressures, such as electricity costs, are also forcing companies to take such aspects into account. When such criteria are considerd as simultaneous performance criteria in planning processes, significant interactions between the criteria can be identified and analysed using multi-criteria optimisation methods.
