The video is part of the accompanying research project of the joint Federal Government-Länder Competition “Advancement through Education: Open Universities”. It is based on an exchange at our chair in November 2018 on the opening of higher education institutions in Germany and Finland. The studio discussion between Merja Karjalainen and Anna Kaikkonen from the Open University Jyväskylä (JYU) provides insights into student profiles, experiences with different teaching and learning scenarios and reflection methods at JYU.
