Konferenzteilnahmen im Frühjahr und Sommer 2024

Mehrere Mitarbeiter vertreten den Lehrstuhl für Bank- und Finanzwirtschaft dieses Jahr auf wissenschaftlichen Konferenzen und präsntieren ihre aktuellen Forschungsergebnisse.

Herr Sebastian Schlie hat sein aktuelles Forschungsprojekt "Interday Cross-Sectional Momentum: Global Evidence and Determinants" am 07.03.2024 in Lüneburg bei der 84. Jahrestagung des Verbandes der Hochschullehrer für Betriebswirtschaft (VHB) präsestiert. Zusätzlich wird er dieses Projekt vom 27.-29.05.2024 bei der 40th International Conference of the French Finance Association (AFFI) in Lille und vom 26.-29.06.2024 bei dem 33rd Annual Meeting of the European Financial Management Association in Lissabon vorstellen.

Herr Florian Borchard hat sein Projekt "Pieces of the index-option-return-puzzle – Some new evidence" beim Workshop of the German Operations Research Society: Working Group on Financial Management and Investments (GOR AG FMI) am 13.03.2024 in Paris vorgestellt. Im Rahmen des Workshops hat auch Herr Falk Jensen am 14.03.2024 seine Ergebnisse zum Thema "Do retail investors care about sustainability? – Preference for and pricing of sustainable structured retail products" präsentiert. Zudem wird Herr Jensen dieses Projekt vom 27.-29.05.2024 bei der 40th International Conference of the French Finance Association (AFFI) in Lille und am 24.05.2024 bei der 2nd Structured Retail Products and Derivatives Conference in Hagen, welche vom Lehrstuhl für Bank- und FInanzwirtschaft ausgerichtet wird, vorstellen.

Im Rahmen der 2nd Structured Retail Products and Derivatives Conference wird auch Herr Lennart Sperling am 24.05.2024 die Ergebnisse seines Forschungsprojekts mit dem Titel "Transition risk premiums in option prices" vorstellen. Zudem präsentiert Herr David Shkel seine Ergebnisse des Projekts "Can you trust the numbers? A model-free assessment of misleading cost disclosures in Structured Retail Products" am 24.05.2024 in Hagen. Dieses Projekt stellt er zudem vom 26.-29.06.2024 bei dem 33rd Annual Meeting of the European Financial Management Association in Lissabon vor.

Ein weiteres Projekt mit dem Titel "How can sustainability preferences be explained? A comparison of common measures" präsentiert Herr Shkel am 26.04.2024 bei der Swedish Community for Sustainable Finance Conference 2024 in Göteborg.
