Kurzbiografie
Pascal Goemans trat im Januar 2022 als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter dem Lehrstuhl bei. Vor Aufnahme der Tätigkeit in Hagen war er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Universität Duisburg-Essen beschäftigt. Er hat sein Bachelor- und Masterstudium der Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der Technischen Universität Dortmund abgeschlossen und ein Auslandssemester an der Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok absolviert. Seine vorwiegenden Forschungsinteressen liegen im Bereich der empirischen Makroökonometrie. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt dabei auf der Effektivität fiskalpolitischer Maßnahmen in unsicheren Zeiten und über den Konjunkturzyklus.

Short biography
Pascal Goemans joined the chair as a research assistant in January 2022. Previously, he was employed as a research assistant at the University of Duisburg-Essen. He completed his bachelor's and master's degree in business administration and economics at TU Dortmund University and spent a semester abroad at Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok. His primary research interests are in the area of empirical macroeconomics. A particular focus is on the effectiveness of fiscal policy measures during uncertain episodes and over the economic cycle.
