Allgemeine Psychologie: Lernen, Motivation, Emotion

There are two different translations to "Allgemeine Psychologie" which both fit in case of the Learning Motivation Emotion - Lab. On the one hand, "allgemeine" is associated with a specific methodological approach: We do experiments in order to study learning, motivation and emotion. On the other hand, "allgemeine" translates to general: We focus on representations and processes involved in learning, motivation and emotion which are general to humans (and many animals). They, for instance, all learn and all have memory. Accordingly, we focus on understanding better how learning works -- while we are less concerned with interindividual differences in learning.
