Hendrik Sonnabend has presented a paper titled “When performance melts away: Heat causes individuals to make more mental mistakes in high-stakes competitions” at this year’s meeting of the European Association of Labour Economists (EALE) in Bergen. Recent research by Felia Braun and Hendrik Sonnabend has been published in the Journal of Economics and Statistics (Jahrbücher für Nationalökonomie und Statistik). Their study entitled "When Colleagues Come to See Each Other as Rivals: Does Internal Competition Affect Workplace Performance?" deals with the question of how internal competition for a position affects performance. - Call for Papers: GEPG Workshop 2024 (pdf)
