Welcome to the website of the Chair of International Economics! Since 2015, members of the Chair have been conducting research on various topics of globalization research and other exciting topics of economics.
In addition to international economics, we are working on topics related to labor economics, cultural economics and sports economics. In all areas, we provide an extensive range of seminar and thesis topics each semester, which are supervised by the chair team.
You can find an overview of the Chair's current teaching and research activities in the respective section.
The chair is also involved in the establishment of a new research cluster IGAS, which bundles cross-chair activities in empirical economic research. These topics also include research in the field of East Asian economics and European integration.
