Jean Monnet project “Importance and determinants of social media mood indicators for the European Union”
Within the framework of this project funded by the European Commission, the Chair deals with the relevance of mood indicators for the European Union. The obtained research results and teaching activities are documented here. The following activities are carried out.
International Summer School
As part of an international summer school for students and doctoral students, participants immediately learn how to deal with mood indicators and how to prepare the necessary data.
Online discussion The importance of social media in the European integration process
As part of an ongoing online lecture series, via Zoom, the general importance of social media and the resulting opportunities and risks for the European integration process will be discussed. Surveys on perceptions of the European Union
A bi-annual survey evaluates the perception of the European Union in civil society, with particular regard to students. The results are continuously published.
