Jean Monnet Project Policy Dialogue
The starting point for the implementation of the project is the observation that the current challenges for the European integration process are often not discussed and evaluated in an international dialogue, but only at country level. Given the existing heterogeneity in the euro area and the challenges posed by the pandemic, the war in Ukraine and inflation developments, cross-country exchanges are a key instrument for political dialogue and the related exchange of perspectives on the European integration process.
The aim of the project is to institutionalize such a dialogue between Germany, Poland and Greece. On the one hand, this is to be achieved through an international ring lecture at the three participating universities with the participation of the Institute for European Policy. Within the framework of this event, teachers and students exchange their experiences and opinions. Students participate in the event as part of seminars at the participating universities and are actively involved in the culture of discussion. The events will also be held publicly to include civil society. In particular, the public discussions in exchange with experts from the academic and political environment make it possible to expand the knowledge of the participants beyond their own discipline.
