We are looking for a research associate! A position at the Department of Adult and Continuing Education to be filled as soon as possible.

At the earliest possible date, the Chair of Adult and Continuing Education offers a position as a research associate (m/f/d) in Hagen (Germany) full-time with 39.83 hours per week or part-time from 19.92 hours, limited for 1 year (with extension option).

The position is part of the international study “Visions and perspectives for the future of teaching and learning at universities until 2050 — an international future study”, led by Prof. Dr. Eva Cendon and Prof. Dr. Mpine Makoe (University of South Africa — UNISA).

This is an academic training position within the meaning of the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (Academic Fixed-Term Contract Act, WissZeitVG), designed to complement and support a doctoral candidate during their research. The position is initially limited to one year with the option of extension (after admission as a doctoral candidate) but for a maximum period of 3 years. You will benefit from working in an international and interdisciplinary environment. You are exempt from the obligation to teach. Regular attendance in Hagen is required, but there is also the possibility of flexible mobile working.
