WED Research Professorship for Educational Technologies in Digital Transformation
Lukas Schröder has been a research assistant in Prof. Dr. Thomas Ludwig’s research group “Educational Technologies in Digital Transformation” at the FernUniversität in Hagen since 15.08.2023. Previously, he achieved his BA in business informatics (2018–2021), which he completed as the year’s best graduate. Following this, he continued his academic studies with a master’s in Human Computer Interaction (2021–2023) at the University of Siegen fort, where he worked as a research assistant on projects to support osteoarthritis patients (“Doc-2-Go”) and on motivation in vocational training at regional companies as part of a location-based approach (“RegioQuest”). In his master’s thesis, he worked on a gamified concept to improve and expand the user experience at careers fairs.
Alongside his studies, he worked as a freelance lecturer in communication and digitalization (2018–2021) and as a student management consultant at Study & Consult (2018–2022). While there, he was involved as head of human resources and as a member of the Advisory Board and supervised projects on (internal) knowledge management, human resources and digitalization. In 2023, he was granted an honorary membership and, together with two other former students, founded an honorary alumni association.
