What is my role in CATALPA?
As a PhD candidate at the Research Professorship for Learning Analytics, I am investigating different aspects within learning analytics research:
- How can we identify and validate relevant indicators of learning in distance education prior to the implementation and evaluation of learning dashboards or other feedback systems.
- I am also interested in how feedback can be implemented most effectively for learners and teachers and how the success of feedback systems can be measured.
Why CATALPA?
CATALPA promotes interdisciplinary and practical research at the interface of learning technologies, educational research, artificial intelligence and data science. Here, researchers from different disciplines can jointly identify relevant problems and develop innovative solutions and benefit from the strengths of related disciplines.
