What is my role in CATALPA?

As a Postdoctoral Researcher in Learning Sciences, I investigate how AI can enhance student learning by safeguarding students’ needs and experiences within the learning environment offered by the FernUniversität Hagen. Following a design thinking approach, I am particularly interested in iteratively developing and implementing personalized tech solutions (e.g., chatbots) to improve students’ experiences throughout their learning processes.

Why CATALPA?

As an early-career researcher, I can benefit from the interdisciplinary and collaborative character of CATALPA. The living lab for personalized higher education with AI and digital technologies offers, in addition to the huge and diverse student cohorts, an iterative user-centric approach leading towards innovative solutions in the education field.
