What is my role within CATALPA?

As a computer scientist with many years of experience in interdisciplinary projects, I support our projects in IT matters as an IT coordinator and establish contacts with other areas of the FernUniversität in Hagen. Furthermore, I work on the development of an overarching software architecture for our approaches and projects, into which new projects and their (socio-technical) results can be integrated. The goal is to create a stable platform that can serve as a starting point for future research and into which developed solutions can be integrated.

Why CATALPA?

The interdisciplinary nature of the research center allows me to learn about different methods, approaches, and best practices from other research areas. It also provides an excellent environment for my research of context-based adaptive collaboration environments. Through intensive exchange with all members, it promotes practice-oriented and -relevant research.
