DFG-Projekt „Analysis auf Netzwerken“ (Delio Mugnolo)
Seit geraumer Zeit werden Aufgaben der theoretischen Informatik, insbesondere des maschinellen Lernens, durch Umformulierung in mathematische Sprache und Analyse der dabei auftretenden Objekte ansatzweise gelöst. Immer häufiger treten dabei Graphen/Quantengraphen und dazu assoziierte Matrizen und Differenzialoperatoren auf.
Ziel dieses Projektes ist es, verschiedene linearalgebraische und operatorentheoretische Eigenschaften solcher Objekte zu untersuchen, insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit Fragestellungen aus der Spektraltheorie sowie aus der Theorie der dynamischen Systeme.
Das Projekt befindet sich aktuell in seiner zweiten Phase. Der erste Teil des Projektes wurde von der DFG Anfang 2018 und der zweite Teil wurde Anfang 2021 ebenfalls von der DFG bewilligt.
