At the workshop “Energy Transition Revisited – The material and socio-political dimensions of renewable energy technologies”, which took place on 13 and 14 July 2017 at the Institute of Political Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Thomas Vogelpohl, team member of “Bio-Ecopoly” from the FernUniversität in Hagen, presented first results and connected thoughts from the case group “Biofuels”.
In front of doctoral candidates and postgraduates from all over Germany he discussed the question, how the overarching paradigmatic framework of the bioeconomy influences political processes and conflicts about biofuels and in which direction it is shifting or will shift them in future.
