On 26 and 27 September 2017, actors from science and practice discussed recent insights, challenges and opportunities of the biogas sector. The fifth biogas congress titled “Biogas in der Landwirtschaft - Stand und Perspektiven” was organized by the Kuratorium für Technik und Bauwesen in der Landwirtschaft e.V. (KTBL) and the Fachagentur Nachwachsende Rohstoffe e.V. (FNR). The project “Political Processes of the Bioeconomy between Economy and Ecology – BIO-ECOPOLY” was present with a scientific poster at the congress.
