Björn Binzer has been a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Information Management at the FernUniversität in Hagen since October 1st, 2021.
After successfully completing his dual bachelor's curriculum in International Business Administration and Information Technology (B.Sc.) at Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences, he completed his master's degree in Information Systems (M.Sc.) at the University of Cologne. As part of his studies, he spent one semester in China at Tongji University in Shanghai.
During his studies, Björn Binzer already gained valuable and practical experiences in various positions at BASF Digital Solutions GmbH. Since 2019, he has been working there in the area of digital marketing, web analytics, and data privacy.
His research and teaching activities at the FernUniversität in Hagen focus on the field of digitalization. He is particularly interested in the areas of digital innovation & transformation, digital trust, digital- and data privacy, digital health, and data governance.
