Digital Transformation
Description
Digital transformation is a broad field of research. In this area, we focus primarily on user-adaptive systems, business models in higher education, and data-driven business models and decision making. Adaptive learning systems improve teaching by personalizing content, increasing engagement and improving learning outcomes. These learning systems are increasingly being used in higher education business models, which are increasingly focused on diversification, cost-effective strategies, sustainability and accessibility alongside online learning. One way to do this is through data-driven business models that use data analytics to optimize processes, improve customer experience and drive innovation.
Our current work focuses in particular on the trade-offs between data-driven business models and sustainability on the one hand, and the discrepancy between the collection of personal data and security and privacy concerns on the other.
