The BAS-Team participated at the ECIS 2014 in Israel by moderating and lecturing

22nd European Conference on Information Systems, June 9-11, 2014, Tel Aviv, Israel


Last week, Professor Stefan Smolnik, Katharina Ebner and Christian Sorgenfrei participated at the 22nd European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS 2014) in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Altogether, the BAS-Team presented three papers:

Katharina Ebner presented her paper “It’s not Fair! A Multi-Level Conceptualization of Strategic IT Benchmarking Success: The Role of Procedural Justice”. Christian Sorgenfrei presented the paper "From Acceptance to Outcome: Towards an Integrative Framework for Information Technology Adoption" which he composed in collaboration with Katharina Ebner, Professor Stefan Smolnik and Professor Murray E. Jennex. Finally Maurice Kügler exposed the results of the paper “Uncovering the Phenomenon of Employees' Enterprise Social Software Use in the Post-Acceptance Stage - Proposing a Use Typology” which he co-authored together with Professor Stefan Smolnik. Furthermore, Christian Sorgenfrei presented his further work on the paper "From Acceptance to Outcome: Towards an Integrative Framework for Information Technology Adoption" within the "Paper Development Workshop" of the European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS). The article was chosen as one of 6 contributions that were invited by the EJIS-Editors to join the workshop.

Finally, Professor Stefan Smolnik chaired the first of the four-part session "Knowledge Management". He has been co-organizer of this track titled "Business Intelligence and Knowledge Management".

After participating at the conference, some members of the Team went sightseeing in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Bethlehem.
