Prof. Dr. Helmut Wagner

Dear visitors of my homepage,

As of February 29, 2020, I am the emeritus professor of economics, in particular macroeconomics, at the Faculty of Economics of the FernUniversität in Hagen. Since then, however, I have continued to be active in research as well as in teaching at the FernUniversität in Hagen.

My retirement does not affect my involvement in the Centre for European and Asian Macroeconomic Studies (CEAMES) and the Hagen Institute for Management Studies (HIMS). I am co-director of both institutes.

After my retirement I continued to represent the „Chair of Macroeconomics" for 1 year. Since February 15, 2021 my successor is Prof. Dr. Joscha Beckmann.
