Fabian Walke is a research associate at the Chair of Business Administration, especially Information Management, at FernUniversität in Hagen. He graduated from the Darmstadt University of Technology with a focus on informatics and a final grade of "very good". He wrote his doctoral thesis in Information Systems at FernUniversität in Hagen. He worked as the managing director of an IT company funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Technology. For his work, he was awarded by former Minister of Economic Affairs Philipp Rösler in the "ICT Innovation" competition. Additionally, he has several years of professional experience as an IT project manager.

Fabian Walke conducts research and teaches in Information Systems at FernUniversität in Hagen, focusing on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and IT-management. He is particularly involved in the supervision and development of the lectures "Information Management" and "Digital Entrepreneurship." The range of lectures supervised by the chair includes "Introduction to Information Systems," "Information Management," "IT- Governance," "Business/IT Alignment," and "Digital Entrepreneurship."

He is also a project employee at the Research Institute for Work – Education – Digitalization (ABD) at FernUniversität in Hagen, a lecturer at the Hessian Applied University for Public Management and Security in Wiesbaden (HöMS), and at the Applied University for Police and Public Administration NRW in Cologne (HSPV). Additionally, he worked as a visiting researcher at the ESADE Business and Law School in Barcelona, Spain, under the supervision of Prof. Jonathan Wareham, PhD.
