The kick-off of our new guest speaker series was the "virtual fireside chat" with Dr.-Ing. Curt Cramer, Vice President and Global Head of Analytics at Lidl, on the topic of "Information Management as Enabler for Next Generation Data Science - What Requirements AI & Co. Place on Corporate IT".

Curt talked about how Data Scientists are a link between the business units and corporate IT and explained the area of tension in which he and his team have to operate on a regular basis. He also gave us insights into two specific projects where he and his group made a measurable impact.

At the end, there was an opportunity to ask questions and engage in a joint exchange with the other participants.
