MEDICE - The Health Family is a medium-sized manufacturer of pharmaceuticals and medical devices from Iserlohn, not far from the headquarters of our beautiful FernUniversität in Hagen, where our guest himself completed his doctorate. MEDICE is building on a consistent addition of digital therapeutics to its pharmaceutical product range. The company is implementing this strategy through investments, spin-offs and collaborations (e.g. with Selfapy). In the process, the pharmaceutical manufacturer is transforming itself into a healthcare company, which of course also requires a rethink in corporate IT.

Thank you Björn for joining us and taking our students with you on your journey. It was really great to welcome back an alumnus of our department in such a context.
