This week we were pleased to welcome Shirley Gregor, Professor Emerita at the Australian National University, to join us virtually for a doctoral seminar on Design Science Research.

The guest lecture focused on the final step in Design Science Research: Telling a Good Story. Prof. Gregor gave many examples of how to derive, position and write knowledge articles from Design Science Research. The discussion also revolved around the role of creativity in Design Science Research projects and other interesting aspects.

The doctoral seminar was organised by Dr. Katharina Ebner and Prof. Till Winkler in cooperation with Prof. Stefan Smolnik's Chair of Business Information Systems, Prof. Julia Kroenung's Chair of Design of Sociotechnical Information Systems and our Chair of Information Management.

The participants of all three teams also organised a small Christmas party, which we were able to celebrate on campus for the first time since Covid!
