Summary: The large amount of data produced and stored daily requires companies to face the phenomenon of Big Data and to decide on a suitable technology strategy. Especially the controlling as one of the major profiteers of the new analysis capabilities should significantly impact the strategy choice. The objective of this article is to develop a decision model that helps choosing a suitable Big Data technology strategy.
