Talk by Joachim von Below
On June 8th, 2022, Prof. Dr. Joachim von Below (Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale, Calais) gave a talk about "Travelling waves and fronts in reaction-diffusion equations on metric graphs" as part of the research seminar Analysis of the FernUniversität in Hagen. This lecture is partially supported by the COST action Mathematical models for interacting dynamics on networks.
Abstract
We investigate the occurrence of similarity solutions in wave form for reaction-diffusion equations on metric graphs.
As nodal conditions we impose the classical Kirchhoff conditions or the anti-Kirchhoff conditions. Of particular interest will be fronts, i.e. monotone and bounded waves on the edges of the graph.
