Talk by Marjeta Kramar Fijavz

On May 4th, 2023, Marjeta Kramar Fijavz (University of Ljubljana, Slovenia) gave a talk about "Dirac equation on metric graphs" as part of the online workshop on "Dirac equation between discrete and continuous: new trends and applications" organized by Ginestra Bianconi (Queen Mary University of London) and Delio Mugnolo (FernUniversität in Hagen). This lecture is partially supported by the COST action Mathematical models for interacting dynamics on networks.

Abstract

Show Abstract

We will present an abstract semigroup approach developed for general linear hyperbolic systems on networks and show its application for the Dirac equation. Different boundary (=vertex) conditions will be considered, either of stationary or dynamic type, leading to different realizations of the Dirac equation on a metric graph. This is joint work with Delio Mugnolo (Hagen) and Serge Nicaise (Valenciennes).
