Biography
After completing his studies in Psychology at the Universities of Freiburg and Bonn, Bernhard is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology at the FernUniversität in Hagen.
In his research, Bernhard investigates interpersonal dynamics and behavior between different social groups. For instance, he has examined how individuals with differing political orientations engage in both cooperative and antisocial behaviors (REF). Bernhard’s work aims to identify strategies for fostering cooperation and social cohesion and reducing polarization. To achieve this, he employs traditional psychological techniques, such as self-reports, alongside behavioral methods, such as economic games, to gain comprehensive insights into group interactions.
In addition to his academic work, Bernhard is committed to making his findings accessible to the public, fostering dialogue and understanding.
