A warm welcome to our new member: Bernhard Schubach
We are excited to announce that Bernhard Schubach has joined our team as a doctoral student. Originally from Koblenz, Bernhard holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Freiburg and completed his Master's at the University of Bonn, where he specialized in social psychology and political psychology. During his time in Bonn, he contributed to fascinating projects on the relationship between political orientation and prosocial behavior and the changeability of political beliefs.
With his expertise and interest in political psychology, behavioral economics, and prosociality, Bernhard is a perfect fit for our ongoing DFG project, "Cooperation in Multiple Social Categorization Settings." This research explores how people navigate and cooperate across multiple group memberships, with important implications for cooperation and social cohesion.
“Understanding cooperative behavior and fostering societal cohesion has always been a key interest of mine,” says Bernhard. “I am excited to research these topics and extend our knowledge during my PhD, and I look forward to contributing to the team.”
We are confident that Bernhard, with his skills, passion, and diverse research background, will be a fantastic addition to our team. We wish him great success on his new journey!
