„,irgendwas muss ja passieren dass die damit aufhören‘. Eine rekonstruktive Studie zu Geschwisterkonflikten als Thema der Familienerziehung“ (Arbeitstitel)“ [„'Something has to happen to make them stop'. A reconstructive study on sibling conflicts as a topic of family education" (working title)“] (since 2018)
"Something has to happen for them to stop" - this quote from an interview with a father of two sisters indicates that sibling conflicts are a topic of family education and that parents can perceive this part of sibling relationships as a pedagogical task. The reconstructive study asks from a praxeological perspective on the one hand how parents regulate conflicts of their children, which orientations of conflict regulation they expect them to follow and which action-guiding orientations they follow themselves. On the other hand, it is of interest how siblings have learned to regulate conflicts with each other, which orientations they follow in their practice of conflict regulation and to what extent the orientational impositions of their parents are reflected in it. To answer this question, individual interviews were conducted with parents and their children in different families. The aim is to identify different types of conflict resolution education.
